Studio FRI were commissioned by a new homeowner to transform the old and unloved house below that they had just purchased.
The brief was to create a home with ample space for a family of 6, as well as a separate annex for the grandparents.
Our proposals included knocking down the existing garage to create a double story side extension, extending out the rear of the house by 4m, adding a dormer in the roof and creating a porch so that there is separate access into the main house and annex.
